The Mt. Baker Volunteer Association
The Mt. Baker Volunteer Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established to promote and facilitate education, community-building, public awareness, and safe practices related to recreation in a mountain environment.

The volunteer association is comprised of Volunteer Ski Patrol and Aid Room participants, the Mountain Education Center, Mountain Hosts, Snow School, and Community Events Hosts.
Our Promise
As part of our commitment, we encourage a positive and inclusive culture within the volunteer association and community.
Our Dedication
As agreed upon and coordinated with Mt. Baker Ski Area management, our volunteers perform volunteer ski patrol duties, emergency medical response, and search & rescue efforts. We also provide on-mountain education and community building activities.
Volunteer Impact
The impact of our volunteers extends beyond the ski area, contributing to the overall well-being and vibrancy of the surrounding community.
Our Mission
Empowering Our Community Through Service
At the Mt. Baker Volunteer Association, we seek to empower our community through volunteer service. We believe in the transformative power of giving back and are committed to building a stronger, more connected community through our volunteer initiatives.
